Environmental Initiatives and Accolades

Other efforts to become more energy efficient have included installing photovoltaic cells on the McCarthy Campus Center and Athletic Building; changing course schedules to reduce the number of days commuters have to drive to campus; and eliminating trays in the 餐厅 Commons to save on dishwashing. 北大厅, the University’s new residence hall, 还获得了LEED(能源与环境设计领导力)金牌认证.
